Get knitting
Since Woolley first arrived at the Sanctuary, he and his adorable knitted donkey friends have been growing in popularity every year. They are knitted by supporters and then sold in our visitors’ centre to raise funds to support the charity.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept your knitted donkeys. Please sell your knitted crafts and nominate The Donkey Sanctuary to receive the benefit. If you have any animal-loving friends, perhaps they would like to make a donation in return for keeping one of your creations! Alternatively, if you have an eBay account, please sell your knitted animals and nominate The Donkey Sanctuary to receive the benefit. Thank you for you support.
Get hooked
So many of our supporters have asked if they can help fundraise for us, but aren't able to make the adorable Woolleys because their skills lie in being able to crochet.

Get sewing
Have fun making beautiful felt donkeys to help The Donkey Sanctuary care for donkeys and mules all over the world. Fill them with lavender for a fresh summer scent, these donkeys look great hanging everywhere from a Christmas tree to a car as an air freshener.
Once you've created your little felt donkeys, either sell them to friends and family and send in the proceeds to us or simply post them to us.
