There are a large number of breeds of donkeys and many variations in anatomy and physiology as a result of adaptations to the different uses and environment as they have evolved. The miniature and mammoth, along with the mule, need special mention and it is important to understand and allow for the differences seen in these breeds.This chapter concentrates on the variations that are especially important to note when considering dentistry.
